Culture Club, more please!

Over six Mondays we will dive into the content of the national bestseller My Grandmother’s Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Mending Our Hearts and Bodies, by Resmaa Menakem. In a safe and nurturing circle of new friends, we will listen to one another’s experiences around race and culture and try out easy practices that will settle our nervous system and will benefit us in any situation we may find ourselves in. Whether you have read the book or have never heard of it, your experience will likely be as rewarding as those who have entered into dialogue with this book before you. Our inaugural Culture Club this past spring is another testament to the power and appeal of this book. Dare I say, this book is a must for everyone, and especially relevant to those in education, healthcare, and law enforcement.

Details: Please join me and co-facilitator, Susie Hiley on Mondays: Sept. 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25 & Nov. 1. Don’t let one booked Monday count you out! We will gather from 7:00-8:15 via Zoom. These sessions are offered in kind and the only requirement is acquiring a book. Register here.
